Established in 1994, ROM-ART is one of Caithness' best kept secrets as we don't advertise, preferring word of mouth recommendation from our large (and well satisfied!) customer base instead.

Initially run from a sitting room, we quickly expanded through a spare bedroom, a room in (the now demolished R.I.P.!) Scapa House, and finally into a professionally converted garage. As the technology boom gripped the far north we became renown for the speed and quality of our work. Although only employing one full time person, proprietor Robin Clarke, there are a number of sub-contract workers who assist as needed.

We operate from our premises at 16 Calder Drive in Thurso, but request that customers telephone during office hours (10am - 5pm, Mon to Fri) to arrange appointments rather than turning up unexpectedly - Robin is frequently out on contracts and it will save a journey. Our mobile number is also only available during our work hours - sorry, we no longer work out of hours except by prior arrangement.

we are only available from 10am - 3.00pm - please arrange in advance if planning to visit.
