Thurso Legion Lottery

The Royal British Legion Scotland, Thurso Branch runs a local lottery scheme within the club to raise money for ongoing maintenance, improvements and refurbishments.

The current club in Thurso was built in 1967 and as with all buildings of that age the costs of upkeep increase every year

We are inviting members and non members to take up the offer of joining the scheme by completing a Standing Order form and selecting three numbers of your preference below which will be recorded and checked after each draw.

The lottery called "Thurso Legion Lottery" can be played by Standing Order or weekly by purchasing a ticket within the club

Three balls will be drawn each week and if these numbers match your chosen numbers you will win our jackpot for that week.

If you match two numbers out of the three balls drawn you will receive a free go

If there are no matches of all three numbers the jackpot will roll over to the following draw and will increase proportionally with the amount of tickets sold

If after 5 ball draws there has been no jackpot winner a fourth ball will be drawn for draws 6 onwards.

All Participants who choose to play through Standing Order will have an extra bonus as they will all be entered into a draw every month in which one of them will win a cash prize; this prize is relative to the amount of Standing Order Players

The Standing Order scheme payments will be 4 payments of 13 a year on the 1st January, 1st April, 1st July and 1st October, a total of 52 a year at 1 a week

The balls draws will take place every Sunday night during Bingo, although this may alter for Armistice, Xmas and New Year any alternative draw days will be announced in advance.

We will check all entries after the draws and contact all winners.

If there is more than one matching ticket the jackpot will be split proportionately

Please consider playing and help us to improve the club and the benefits we give to current and ex Servicemen and woman whilst giving you the opportunity to win large sums of money

Please click on Thurso Legion Lottery Logo to download or print a Standing Order Lottery Mandate and return to the club (unfortunately we need a signed mandate so we cannot accept electonic entry only properly signed mandates).
