Dixonfield Farmhouse's Caithness self catering holiday home accommodation is set just ½ a mile from Thurso, is surrounded by countryside, and boasts stunning views across the Pentland Firth towards the Orkney isles. The spacious self catering holiday home comprises three bedrooms, capable of sleeping up to six persons in comfort. The accommodation is centrally heated with radiators in all rooms and, very importantly, is non-smoking. There is ample room near the accommodation for two or more cars in the private parking area and even has a short country walk close by.

The living room immediately lets you see the wonderful view you have to the north, over the countryside to the sea, and beyond to Orkney. The self catering bungalow offers plenty of space to settle down and relax, and ample seating and entertainment has been laid on; a TV and VCR, and a selection of video tapes to suit most ages and tastes, should you find yourself with the inclination to sit back and chill out after a busy day. Off the living room, through a protected-glass door, is a 6-seat dining room, with a simple access hatch to the kitchen for ease of transferring food and dishes.

The sleeping accommodation comprises a twin bedroom which also has great views over to the sea. It includes two pine single beds, drawered units and sizeable built in wardrobe. Next door, the first double room has the last of the northerly sea views, a comfy bed, 2 chests of drawers, bedside cabinet and its own sink.

The second double has particularly warm décor and catches the sun, making it feel even warmer. The double bed is complimented by a drawered dressing table and yet more integral wardrobe space. Finally we have the sizeable bathroom which contains a bath and shower, toilet, and sink, along with plenty of towels.

	The self catering's main entrance from the parking area comes into a bright and airy kitchen which, as would be expected, contains all modern necessities - kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer, etc. - so you can settle straight into your stay. There is a 2-seat table available here should you wish to use it, and a washing machine, and separate toilet & wash hand basin is located just off the kitchen.
