Both Liz and I thoroughly enjoyed our day, made all the more enjoyable by the general Halcrow hospitality and excellent catering - the best we've experienced at the Games for many a year!

The catering was fantastic, people said it was the best at the event

The catering was first class, a truly amazing achievement
when you consider we were in the middle of a field!

The other food on offer was very much EasyJet
but Halcrow’s catering was like flying BA Club class!

We loved the day and the food was superb. You should tell your caterer that he wins hands down against the food I was served in first class whilst travelling with Virgin trains to London.

Thank you so much for all your beautiful sweets and sausage rolls it went down a treat. Everyone was raving about your cheesecakes and your name was getting branded about.

WOW! We just came back from Mybster with chips and cheesecake! (After eight ) and if heaven had a mobile chip van this one is it! Words cannot describe how delicious our meal was! Although being a female I could say it was better than (you know what) but I cant say that or my other half wont buy me chips and cheesecake from there again. I feel like running back over there for some more. BUt Ill have to wait until tuesday nights! We also bought a packed of those new walkers 'British Breakfast' flavoured crisps from there!? Very interesting, one crisp tasted like egg then the next like bacon. We are a spoilt nation

We went to the chip van last night, it was excellent .And that comes from a family who are not great chip shop fans.We thought we would give it a try and were not disapointed.Great chunky chips

Took the kids round to the chip van on tuesday. Bought hubby a supper too! Nice, tasty and hot! Thanks

Just had fish and chips and they were great the chips were fantastic
what a change to get a decent chip go and try it

Had chip suppers tonight - they were excellent. Chips were homemade and everything was freshly cooked to order. Prices were very reasonable as well.

Had fish and chips from the van last night when it was in Thurso and the fish was beautiful and a really big piece and the chips were great big chunky ones.

WOW What a Great Service. OOOOH The Delight of that Wonderful CheeseCake. Thanks Man it was the most Delicious CheeseCake I have ever eaten. OOOPS I should not have said that as now when I go to your Chip Van you will be sold out of CheeseCake. OK I will be serious. If you want the Very Best in Fish and Chips etc. Then the Mobile Chip Van is for you. The Fish tastes so fresh and the Batter is superb, I can not praise them Highly enough. If that was not enough then their Home Made CheeseCake is to Die for. I just had some of the "After Eight" CheeseCake, it was Supernacular and it Did taste just like After Eight. So if the Chip Van comes your way then treat yourself, believe me your Tummy will thank you.

Many thanks for providing the food for Friday night in Lybster. Everyone enjoyed it and full of praise especially for the lasagne and salmon. It was all delicious. I appreciated your professionalism and the way it was all presented and most importantly cleared away at the end of the evening. Our scrambled eggs and smoked salmon breakfast was wonderful too and set us all up for a wonderful day. The wedding went off great and even the weather was kind to us. The happy couple are now in Italy on honeymoon while the rest of us are getting back down to earth and talking about our short holiday to Caithness. Many thanks again and best regards to your wife. I gave the Lybster folk some cards and left the rest in the croft as it is rented out.
